BUILDING NEWS
Good news with our building is that it is really taking shape, with the frame and roof going up. There will be more progress from January 11th, when work resumes.
SCHOOL RESUMES
The 2010 school year resumes for students on Monday 1st February at 9.00. The office will be open from Thursday 21st January at restricted times, so please call first if you intend on dropping in. The office number is 9546-8964.
We are all looking forward to an exciting 2010 filled with lots of learning and fun.
NEW UNIFORM CHANGES
As mentioned in our newsletter, School Council have endorsed a slight uniform change to take effect from the 2010 school year.
New colours will be red with black shorts/track pants.
Please note that there will be a transition period for the new uniforms, so the 'old' uniform is still valid for the start of the 2010 year.
A display of the new uniform will be available in the foyer. Make sure you keep notice, as there will be 'special offers' to start the year.

SUNSMART
Remember that from September 1st, we are required to wear a broad-brimmed hat when outdoors, either at recess, lunch or during PE/sport sessions. Those children who do not have a hat may be asked to sit in the shaded areas.
The anti-cancer council recently changed the dates that children need hat protection to Sept 1st until April 30th. Remember a cap does not offer suitable protection from the sun.
